Supporting energy access for those in need

Your donation helps deliver clean, local energy solutions and strengthens energy security for at-risk communities.

Since 2021, Wood Mackenzie has partnered with the non-profit organisation, Let's Share the Sun to bring the power of the sun to communities in need. 

Our purpose - to transform the way we power our planet - continues to guide our work and inspire action. In Puerto Rico, frequent power outages disrupt daily life and put vulnerable households at risk, especially families with medical needs and shelters supporting women and children. Reliable access to energy is critical for safety, for stability, and for hope.

Over the past four years, our teams have travelled to Puerto Rico to help install solar panels and battery storage systems on homes and shelters, supporting those with life-sustaining medical equipment and those escaping domestic violence. Most recently, we expanded our impact by running educational workshops in a local school, helping students and teachers understand the importance of clean, resilient energy.

Each project is about more than just installation. It’s about building resilience, supporting families, and creating lasting change. Together, we’ve already made a powerful impact. Let’s go even further.

There are three primary ways to support this initiative:

• Donate unused equipment (e.g., solar panels, inverters, energy storage batteries, etc.)  
• Volunteer your time and expertise to Let’s Share the Sun

Through collaboration and shared resources, we can continue to expand the impact we’ve already made - powering homes, shelters, and futures.
